It pretty much is the only MTA now (save for mailkickd for kicking
SMTP to dialup customers, but exim delivers to a place mailkick delivers
from ;)
Also Tiscali use Exim alot too.
* Outgoing SMTP servers shift some 3.5Million email a day,
* Incoming SMTP server shift some 2Million emails a day.
