No, actually, some of the RFTM responses are because some people are
too lazy or too selfish to read the documenation. The exim
documentation is extremely well written and quite thorough.

This mailing list is not a technical support helpdesk. Rather, it is
a list for users of Exim to be used for a wide variety of purposes,
including technical support, discussion of current and possible new
features, or even about the legitimacy of certain common practices.

There are a large number of highly intelligent people on the list who
are decent and gracious enough to assist those who are new to Exim,
and even more significantly, they do so without the expectation of
payment in return.

Those who go to the open source community for technical support should
always have the courtesy to investigate the solution themselves first,
provide examples of their attempts, and then ask for assistance.

Truth be told, most people on this list are very courteous in their
questions and replies. If you look back carefully, I think you'll see
a specific pattern to the RTFM comments and to whom they are addressed.
