Ouch. I just found the -D files as well :( There was nothing in the
logs to alert me to the crashed processes, so I have no idea I was
accumulating -D files in input, and entire message files in scan.

Right, I'm using exim 4.30 + exiscan, on a clean Fedora linux core 1,
kernel 2.4.22-1.2166.
