Seems to be needed. In the ol' day of NNTP, that was consent in most
groups. But today that seems to be not natural anymore.

Somehow. It is at least a personality and not something like: "I do not
care about you, just answer my f... question and shut up afterwards!"

That is definitively the case with some topics. But I cannot believe it
is on this list.
