Bottom-posting WAS more convenient on dead-tree TTY or DECWriter output,
as the latest addition ended up right in line-of sight and one only
'looked upward' on the printout if they hadn't seen, or didn't remember,
some prior chunks.

..and apparently it became 'religion', 'coz on glass or plastic 'TTY' it
now requires scrolling-down, ELSE jumping to 'End' THEN scrolling
BACK... even on my display at 1200 dpi vertical and 6 and 8 px typeface
.. even if one DOES remember it all.

Mebbe some folk have 2048 dpi's rotated to portrait mode?
Still not always enough...

Bottom-posting, IS the policy.

But it makes them harder, not easier, to wade through.

As said ... 'religion'.

Inlining is my preferred compromise,'specially as it puts point/response,
point/response

...together, and not all viewers are equally interested in the same
sub-issues.

YMMV,

Bill
