Er, you can already do that (and a lot more) in Exim. So if you're
looking for a coding challenge, that probably isn't it. Besides, a
"proxy" tends to imply that it would be a different bit of software
sitting in front of Exim, in which case the Exim design shouldn't be too
important; it would just be an SMTP black box.

And it's not OO either; if that's important.
