I have a small clue (it's genetic and hardly
noticeable in this light) and will soon begin
outright blocking from hosts listed in certain
RBLs.

This is at user request and after looking at
lots of real messages. The requirements for the
new rollout in this regard are:

1) blocking can be enabled/disabled at recipient domain
    and address levels

2) rejection message gives clear instructions for
contacting the recipient to resolve problem

3) users can add white sender hosts at the recipient
    domain and address levels

(All, of course, easily accommodated by the near
magical flexibility, reliability, and yes, even
scalability, of Exim).

That will please our users, and that's what it's
all about.
