You need to run 2 instances of exim: The first one is the "listener",
the second does the deliveries after MailScanner has done its job.
=> These two exim instances need different configurations.
(AFAIK the MailScanner docs contain an example on how to achieve it
with just on exim.conf, but I'm using two exim configuration files.)
Maybe your exim instances just use the wrong configurations...
