Exim is unlike other MTAs in that it is a collection of tools, not a
collection of features. Compare Exim's ACLs with Postfix's access
restriction lists which are just a collection of canned ready meals.
Sendmail is still configured like Exim 3 was, a bunch of special cases.

I expect Philip is continually surprised by the twisted things people do
with his software, in their own particular ways.
