I was playing around with iplsearch last night and found it producing
some strange errors in my log files:
004-06-21 23:29:42 H=alias-1.c10-ave-mta2.cnet.com [206.16.1.161]
F=<CNET_Networks_#3.124740.3334393239363334.b@???>
temporarily rejected RCPT <xxxxxxxxxx@???>:
"alias-1.c10-ave-mta2.cnet.com" is not a valid iplsearch key
and even more interestingly a spam attempt being passed on by my
secondary MX

Anyhow, I was just wondering whether there was any documentation on the
correct use of iplsearch? I can't seem to find it in the latest spec or
in the paper manual ...
I was trying to use it as follows:
deny message = rejected because $sender_host_address is in an internal
blacklist. If you feel this to be in error, please contact
postmaster@??? from another e-mail source.
hosts = iplsearch;/usr/local/exim/internal_list
maybe just the way I was trying to use it?
