Well, the standard(tm) tells to favour STARTTLS and STLS over the
(historic?) "SSL" solutions, for various (specious) reasons, yes.

Ah no, you'd start *one* something. Exim would do the Rest itself, like
starting the queue runners from time to time, and starting an TLS
listener if needed. That was just a thought, personally I really can
do this explicitly, but people seem to get irritated by that.
Never mind, I just wanted to know how you think about this, and whether
it's going to change in near future.
