There isn't a clear consensus at the moment. A while back I suggested
to Philip that he change the documentation to use "disk" consistently:
it used both spellings, but "disk" is easier to grep for since it isn't
a substring of "discard" etc. It looks like the source code escaped
this fix...

./src/receive.c:the disc, as fflush() doesn't do this (or at least, it isn't documented as
./src/receive.c:file has already been unlinked, and the header file was never written to disc.

./src/spool_out.c:/* Force the file's contents to be written to disc. Note that fflush()
