Sets which hosts Exim advertises SMTP AUTH to in the EHLO response. Exim
will accept authentication requests without it, however, and there are
some anomalies with some MUAs (Netscape 4 can be problematic IIRC).

It's quoted-printable encoding; fairly common although not usually
necessary for straightforward plain text. Lukas's header said:

content-type: text/plain
content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable

Not quite sure why his mailer decided to encode it in this case though.
Probably an odd high-bit ASCII character somewhere, or something similar.
