Just to rectify what I wrote the other day: Eudora for Mac supports
TLS in MacOSX 10.2 *and* MacOS Classic (9, 8.6?) but *not* X 10.0 and
10.1.
Also, as we have seen from Tamas experience and my experiment, it
seems to have problems with TLS and authentication on Windows as it
does not recognise the aithentication methods presented (even if it
accepts them when not in TLS).
[Another difference between the Win and MacOSX versions appears in
the Win only enforcement of CN = servername, but this might be some
obscure setting].
That is all and sorry if this turns out not be connected to exim at all.
