not wanting to prolong the debian thread too much, but i've got packages at
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/araqnid/debian-packages/ , where the
"exim-heavy" binary package supports mysql, postgresql and ldap. Haven't got
round to trying those out under exim4 yet, though.
