So if reznet spans the IP blocks 142.66.72.0/255 142.66.73.0/255
142.66.74.0/255 142.66.75.0/255
then:
host_accept_relay =
142.66.72.0/255:142.66.73.0/255:142.66.74.0/255:142.66.75.0/255
would be acceptable for relaying mail from those blocks of IP's only,
correct ?
I formerly had :
host_accept_relay = *.reznet.uleth.ca
Would that be wrong ?

The IP for my workstation aka my really old Toshiba 720CDT has
been the same, it has been rez256.reznet.uleth.ca or IP 142.66.73.2 , I
have also set host_lookup = * for reverse lookups. I think that I recall
seeing that somewhere in the manual. I guess that I have to lookup my
grouchy DNS admin. :) :) :) If I can't perform operations such as ls -d in
a nslookup prompt I know that something has to be fishy especially if these
are external DNS servers that your servers probably use to deliver mail to
*.uleth.ca
