I use a little program called DRAC, Dynamic Relay Access Control. It
takes a little tweaking to get working, plus you have to patch your pop
or imap servers, but, it has been working like a champ for me, and it
works great with Exim.
My problem was similar in that I have folks who go on the road, and they
have accounts with AOL, AT&T Internet, and so forth. This is what I
have found to be a good solution.
