Subject: [Exim] exim and mailman -- refused relay
Hi,

I've configured exim and mailman. Everything seems to work fine, except for this: I want to have a mailinglist thats kinda private, so I made the list only accept messages from list-members.

Now a friend of mine, who is not on the list, send a message to the mailinglist. This is what appeared in the exim/mainlog:

1999-09-19 22:51:59 11SnwF-0004py-00 <= user@??? U=uucp P=local-rmail S=71
4 id=001501bf02e0$c022cfe0$1401a8c0@???
1999-09-19 22:52:07 refused relay (host accept) to <user@???> from <lanpar
ty-helden-admin@???> H=localhost (k298r.balpol.tudelft.nl) [127.0.0.1]
1999-09-19 22:52:07 11SnwF-0004py-00 => |/var/lib/mailman/mail/wrapper post lanp
arty-helden <lanparty-helden@???> D=system_aliases T=address_pipe
1999-09-19 22:52:07 11SnwF-0004py-00 Completed

See the 'refused relay (host accept)' message? Does anybody know what this means, or how why it's refused?

I can send messages from this machine to this user. I've even tested it with exim -bt...

rotzorg.org is a virtual domain, which is running on k298r.balpol.tudelft.nl

p.s. I know this message goes through some moderation. I've subscribed as sendy@???, my standard mailbox, but my local Linuxbox keeps saying i'm sgr@???... I want to get to list messages to go to sendy@??? though...
