There is a host that I (using exim 2.12) talk to very frequently for which
I find a large number of messages in my queue with
SMTP timeout while connected to [omitted to protect the guilty] after
end of data ([...] bytes written): Connection timed out
I believe that this has come up on the list before, but I couldn't find it
in the archives. No doubt the problem is with the other host, but if
there are recommendations about tuning that I could do at my end (or pass
on to the manager of the other host) that would be very much appreciated.
The banner of the host in questions is:
220 [omitted] IMS SMTP Receiver Version 0.81 Ready
