Best solution i've found to this (using a *-ified virtusertable from an
old sendmail config) is the following director list:
(1) aliasfile director for virtusertable with search type `lsearch'
(2) regular aliasfile and localuser directors
(3) aliasfile director for virtusertable with search type `lsearch*'
This does the right thing with aliases in the virtusertable that point
to local aliases or users, and also does the right thing with the *
entries. If you have a large such virtusertable or are concerned about
speed, you might consider using `cdb' and `cdb*' search types instead.
