hi
installed exim 1.90 on freebsd 2.2.6 yesterday. everythings going well apart
from about 5 hosts having trouble delivering mail. heres the debug log for
a failed connection. this is a local (to new zealand) host having problem,
another is hotmail.com. the hosts have been trying for about 12 hours so
it's not an intermittant thing. thanx for your help.
i've had a look at the mailling archive and see a couple of other people
have had the same problem. one suggestion was smtp_receive_timeout = 20m.
this hasn't worked here. anyone find the solution?
