One point I forgot:

If the server runs out of diskspace, Exim 1.90 will reject messages
it can't store any more (by an 4xx error). This will leave the
system open for some smaller messages and avoid a *real* disk full
situation. Of cause, this is an ideal idea and not reality, as not
all MTAs are supporting SIZE.
