What about using setproctitle in Exim 1.far.future ?
Just to see that 40 exim-processes are running is a bit boring,
I'd prefer something like sendmail:
sendmail: accepting connections on port 25
sendmail: PAA07271 phobos.cet.pt.: client DATA 354
sendmail: server bourbon.NetVision.Net.il [199.203.100.253] child wait
sendmail: server bourbon.NetVision.Net.il [199.203.100.253] cmd read
