Subject: Bad address.
exim 0.52 on a sparc running sunos 4.1.3u1 trying to reach the following
address:

    d..j..brunswick.swi0104@???

/usr/lib/sendmail -bt -v
> d..j..brunswick.swi0104@???

exim: d..j..brunswick.swi0104@???
- bad address: expected word or '<'

A quick check of RFC822 shows that '..' is invalid as a null part isn't
allowed between the dots.

However most other mailers allow it.

BTW yes this really is their address!
ABTW if you quote (".....") the local-part then it works - but that is a
real pain.
