Both. Body lines have to be processed for canonicalization before
adding into the hash value that becomes part of the signature.
The DKIM standard does not limit the permissible body line length,
but the Exim implementation does (to 16k -delta).

Perhaps you could feed the messages through a processing stage
before the first DKIM signing?
