Hi Zoltan and thanks for the amazing work on SLJIT.
PCRE passes Javascript's test262 unit tests well enough to be suitable for my
browser app, and i can easily fix the problems i found so far by tweaking a few
lines in pcre2_compile.c.
There's no reason to change anything if PCRE's userbase doesnt require
Javascript compatibility. My use case is probably unique. (although i really
think if \o isnt followed by {argument} then it should be considered a literal
rather than throwing an error).
I'm happy to close the discussion for now and just concentrate on my testing
while you guys ponder over time whether Javascript compatibility has any value.
