Hello,

Finally, I have copied /opt/exim/localdomains file to other name to back it up and then remove desytec.com entry. That way, exim does not think desytec.com is local. After restart exim daemon, problem was fixed.

This was obvious as I have thought of first, however, I was expecting some sort of confirmation in this list, but I decided to test it by myself because if I continue waiting a reply here, I will die waiting.

Thanks anyway. By the way, is there a forum or something where I can receive real support by exim members, not only by volunteers?

Jaime

Hi,

I’m afraid you’re going to have to do some of your own work here. You’ve got another router that looks at that file. I don’t know the intended purpose of either router. You may also have other systems looking at that file.

Remember, we’re all volunteers here!

You’re not going to break your configuration by removing the file. But somebody once thought it was a good idea to create it. If you want certainty, you’ll have to find out what that reason was. You won’t find it on this list.

Whether it does any harm elsewhere depends on whether the list, or the file, is consulted for any other purpose. Removing it could, for example, prevent local submission.
