libpcre2-8.0.dylib`match:
0x10007e0f0: pushq %rbp
0x10007e0f1: movq %rsp, %rbp
0x10007e0f4: subq $0xd60, %rsp

That is 3432 (3424 + 1*8) bytes per frame. A wee bit more, I'd say.
