Hi Zoltan,

Thanks for help.
Crash is reproducible on "Solaris Sparc 64".
For us to move on to latest version will be big exercise.
If you can help us to provide some patch or way to remove this defect.

I tried your pattern with the latest pcre trunk, and I did not see any crashes.
Could you also try the lates version? The trunk is available here:

svn co svn://vcs.exim.org/pcre/code/trunk

The auto-possessification was fully rewritten before 8.34 was released, and
people reported various issues. We fixed them, and this crash was likely fixed
