I read the patch and couldn't see and big issues with it.

I tried it and still got the same error though:

CMake Error: File /home/stephen/dev/src/pcre/pcre.h.generic does not exist.
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:319 (CONFIGURE_FILE):
