Subject: [exim] Exim4 and Hylafax.
Hello to all,
and pardon me for my bad english. Maybe this is not the right forum for my question.
I am newbe of open-source software.
I have installed Hylafax 4.4.0 on Ubuntu Server 7.10 and exim4 as MTA.
I can send incoming faxes to an external e-mail address like pippo@xxxxxxxx.
I have already added  Transport and Router section for faxmail in exim4's config.

Now I would like to  send faxes (user@???) from an email windows client (Outlook).
I am looking a lot on this forum but (I am newbe) I haven't understand too much.
What
I need to change/add in Exim4 e how I must configure a new account to
send email-fax with Outlook ? How Exim4 intercepts emails sent by
Outlook.
Ubuntu serve as a local static ip address (192.168.1.XX), like all the windows clients in my local lan.

Another question. How to use two smtp smarthost with Exim4 ?

Can anyone help me (step by step) to do this.

Thanks in advance

I believe you're looking for:

helo_allow_chars _

However, their admin is incorrect - they'll get rejections at many
more places than just yours. The correct fix is to correct the HELO
value, but this will ignore the problem if that's what you want.

Cheers,
Tony
