You can put lookups in host lists, e.g.

hostlist sender_whitelist = \
    net-iplsearch;CONFDIR/lists/sender_whitelist_byIP \
    nwildlsearch;CONFDIR/lists/sender_whitelist_byName

It does if you use the right lookup type :-)
