Author: Dominic Date: To: exim-users Subject: [exim] continue mail delivery when SQL-connection in config router
fails
Hello,
I'm trying to configure the exim-server to use a postgresql-database for
lookups, but if the database-server fails, the server should use a text-file
with some general configuration options.
My problem is, that all mails are deferred when the database-connection fails
and I can't find a configuration-option to skip that lookup in case of a
database-failure. Checking if the query was successfull doesn't work, as long
as the database is available checking if a query was successfull or not and
decide wheter to use the database or the file for the lookup is possible, but
as soon as the database-connection isn't possible the exim-server defers the
mail without checking the other routers.
Can someone give me an example of how to configure the exim-server to continue
even if it's not possible to connect to the database?
Thanks in advance!
