Stuff just as strange happens 'for real'.

My Octogenarian Mum decided to resign from a Religion which shall remain
nameless.

Took her *ten years* of writing and insisting, thst yes, she really
meant it, and no, she didn't need her husband's permission, as he was
both agnostic - and long-dead.

Toward the end, they warned her in writing that IF she went forward with
resigning (aside from the expected soul-will-burn-in-wherever-forever
stuff), that they would TAKE BACK every *blessing* ever bestowed on her.

And did.

I'm not sure how a 'blessing' can be taken back as much as 40 years
after the fact...... seems both petty and, well ... *superfluous*, what
with the perpetual incineration package.

But had blessings come with the sort of conditional disclaimer cited,
folks might have had a clearer view of that organization, sooner..

Which could overall, reduce energy consumption for bandwidth and bicycle
tires.

;-)
