You are rewriting envelope sender addresses and addresses that appear in
the message header. Redirection only changes envelope recipient addresses.
So to answer your question you need to decide whether you actually want to
modify sender and header addresses.

I think routers are easier to manage for complicated setups with lots of
different kinds of address. If you are finding your rewrite rules
difficult to understand and change then that would be a good reason to
consider changing your current policy.
