You might want to check out The CEAS Live challenge toolkit from 2007
http://www.ceas.cc/2007/challenge/challenge.html

It uses sendmail/milter and a custom built java app to multiplex an
email stream. Might not be appropriate to use with live data, however
if you want to test multiple solutions, it very well could help, and it
has a built in scoring mechanism.
