It most assuredly is - IP-based virtual domains can be given the correct IP and
matching HELO so the far-end lookup will match. (assuming the DNS is in order,
of course..)
And, BTW, taking away the crutches from those who run 'pools' and can, but will
not, keep that part of their kit in good order.
