Comma separated? Well, while dc_other_hostnames doesn't sound like a
standard Exim term, in cases where I refer to local domain names, I
do use

domainlist local_domains = lsearch;/etc/postfix/local-host-names

(The confusion here is about the naming of that file - local-host-names
doesn't sound quite right!)
If they are domain name, then I suggest one domain name per line, not
comma separated.

Oh, this is an aliases file, but to be honest, I haven't dealt with such
as it appears to reverse the logic in the standard aliases file (from
/etc/mail/aliases) but something like this was recently discussed on
this list. I did not give it a serious thought though. You could check
the list archives for the thread.
