I feel obliged to point out that blocking "localhost.localdomain" does
cause false positives. I deal with several a year. I guess it is the
name a system thinks it has in out-of-the-box installs of some
Unix-alikes, which don't get otherwise properly configured.

In most cases I tell the complaining person to grumble at the system
operator and briefly explain the problem, copying them in if it is obvious
how to contact them. I rarely hear back, one way or the other, whether
the issue gets fixed, and I have only ever had to make one (temporary)
exception.
