[exim] smtp_active_hostname Use

Hi,

I am new to Exim. I have a VPS that has two domains
hosted there.

I have been told that I could use smtp_active_hostname
to have each send and receive email as though each was
on their own account. Right now email headers for both
accounts show as coming from one domain.

1. Do I place the info in /etc/exim.conf?
2. What is the proper syntax per this example? (I am
not a coder.)

smtp_active_hostname = ${if
eq{$interface_address}{10.0.0.1}\
    {cox.mydomain}{box.mydomain}}
