I don't know much about Joe's setup (and nothing about @Mail, is that
some kind virtual mail system?), but since you probably don't know more
about it, you also cannot know if and why he needs that. Maybe he's
migrating from a system-user setup to a virtual one, but cannot tell all
clients to change their login name (BTDT), so it would really make sense
what he wants.
