Hi there!
If I am not wrong, there must be some post-installation notes that get
displayed when you install Exim from OpenBSD ports. I am not sure but
this is common on FreeBSD.
Again, I can only talk about FreeBSD. In /usr/ports/mail/exim, the port
maintainer has kept a skeleton exim.sh in files/ directory under this
path. If the port maintainer(s) for OBSD don't do this, plead with them
to do it.
Finally, there must be some file in rc.d/ called exim* (exim.sh) and
if OBSD uses rc_NG, then you just have to add exim_enable="YES" in
/etc/rc.conf
Man, I am not familiar with OBSD, but I also believe google will yield
several HOWTOs about installing and running Exim on OpenBSD.
I always say we'll be doomed if someone shut down google ;-)
