But to answer your question:
If you want to keep a local copy of the message, and also have it
forwarded somewhere (a pipe, another address, whatever), install the CVS
nightly snapshot of vexim (if you haven't already).
It contains an option to "keep a local copy of messages" when you choose
to forward mail.
