is deliverable.

It's *sender* verification that's failing, which tells you nothing of
the recipient address. Furthermore, it's a callout verify, so the
sender's username must be valid as well as the domain. If you expect
root@??? to be a valid recipient address, you need to
test why it is being rejected.
