Thank you Phillip.
It's easy to work around in my situation. I just wanted to be sure
that I wasn't missing something.
I have exim talking to my python code via readsocket and I have my
python code in a daemon. It seems very fast indeed.
I'm looking for headers in the $message_body in some special
situations and so it would have been a tiny bit easier if the '\n's
were still in there.
The readsocket/python_daemon trick has sucked the guts out of my exim
configuration so now it is just a skeleton of what it used to be. So
cool.
