I am using 4.50 and have a similar rule to your exmple in place already.
It will certainly cut down on failed callouts due to DSN issues.
But some sites will wait and reject the message at the RCPT TO: stage, and
it's at this point where I'd like to perform a substring match to see if the
reason given refers to "<>" or "null sender" or "bogus sender" or any of the
other common error messages I see.
