[exim] Secure E-mail

I want to figure out a way that I can transfer
e-mail securely to remote e-mail clients
(typically on Windows machines). If there were
something like 'Secure POP3' that would be what I
am looking for. I am posting this question here
because I am running Exim and I'm thinking that
there might be a solution that works particularly
well with it. Any recommendations? Thanks for
any input.
