Subject: [exim-dev] Exim's bounces, vs RFC3462
Out of an email exchange with someone in Germany came the observation
that exim apparently both does accept-and-bounce and generates
non-RFC3462 bounces.

In today's net, this seems..wrong, because accept-and-bounce means it
generates bounce blowback, but non-3462 bounces mean they can't be
tested for forgeries and refused when they are - or at least can't
easily be.

Has any thought been given to either dropping accept-and-bounce or
generating 3462 bounces? It'd certainly cut down on the number of
sites _I_ end up blocking in toto.
