Er, no, they just dropped RH8 and 7.2, without much warning. Right
this minute I'm upgrading my way out of the remaining 7.2 desktops as
a consequence. Fortunately, this wasn't business-critical for us.

I don't disagree: the broad-brush was sufficiently clear that I didn't
need to go into 100% of the details. If you're aiming to run a
production MTA, then I still think the general principles are clear:
you don't choose a bleeding-edge development platform to run it on.
There's nothing wrong with Fedora Core in appropriate places, don't
get me wrong.
