That is an understatement.

One of the best ways to improve the performance of a Sun Ultra 5 or
Ultra 10 (they are identical except for the form factor of the chassis)
is to put a supported SCSI card in it, paired with a 10k or 15k RPM hard
drive.

If you have a slow MX host, one of the first things to consider
upgrading is the I/O. CPU and memory can be up there too, it depends on
what your MX hosts do.
